About Our Missions Team

At Evergreen, we are committed to the mission of announcing and demonstrating the coming Kingdom which undoes the brokenness of the world. Our good works do not earn salvation, but they are the evidence of a life captivated by and committed to the Gospel story of Scripture. They are a foreshadowing of the coming Kingdom and a way to participate in the reconciling mission of Christ.

Mission Team Ambassadors

At Evergreen, each of our ministry partners is represented by an Evergreen ambassador. Our hope is to move beyond a donorship model to a relationship model. Contact Pastor Don Feuerbach for details at PastorDon@EvergreenChurchGa.org.

Evergreen On Mission – Bloom

Every year at Evergreen Church, a Mission Partner is focused on during the Advent season. This year we are partnering with Bloom, a non-profit foster care organization in Fayetteville. Bloom provides safe shelter and physical, educational and emotional support to children who have been victims of abuse, neglect or other tragic circumstances, in order to strengthen them for the next phase of life. We can best support Bloom this season by assisting with the annual Christmas Party for their foster children and their families. They will see Santa, receive Christmas gifts, and enjoy a catered meal.

On December 9, we will be taking a special love offering to cover the cost of dinner for the event. We also will be assembling 90 goodie bags for the children and their siblings during our potluck luncheon. If you would like to contribute to the goodie bags, please drop off small Christmas themed party favors that will fit in a small bag to the church office before Friday, December 7. Bubbles, crayons, pencils, stickers, miniature coloring books, erasers, miniature puzzles, miniature activity books, finger puppets, miniature stuffed animals, and candy canes are some items the kids would enjoy. If you would like to donate the actual Christmas goodie bag, please coordinate with the church office.

The ages of the children follows:
10 babies ages 0-1, 10 kids age 2, 24 kids ages 3-5, 19 kids ages 6-8, 15 kids ages 9-12, 9 kids ages 13-18.
