About Our Missions Team

At Evergreen, we are committed to the mission of announcing and demonstrating the coming Kingdom which undoes the brokenness of the world. Our good works do not earn salvation, but they are the evidence of a life captivated by and committed to the Gospel story of Scripture. They are a foreshadowing of the coming Kingdom and a way to participate in the reconciling mission of Christ.

Purpose Statement of the Evergreen Missions Team

“Participating in God’s mission through hands-on service and Kingdom partnerships on a local, national, and global level.”

Mission Team Ambassadors

At Evergreen, each of our ministry partners is represented by an Evergreen ambassador. Our hope is to move beyond a donorship model to a relationship model. Contact Pastor Don Feuerbach for details at PastorDon@EvergreenChurchGa.org.

Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Check in with assigned ministry partner up to 4 times a year via phone call, email, or in person conversation.

Upcoming volunteer opportunities are listed below.

Volunteers are Needed to Pick Fruit at the Real Life Center’s Orchard.

The Real Life Center is currently harvesting grapes in their orchard!   Their orchard provides fresh and healthy food items for the families they support.   The orchard opens at 8:30 am on Saturday and volunteers are needed for picking the grapes.  The grapes are easy to pick, as they are all waist high.   If you would like to volunteer, no sign up is needed.   Just swing by on Saturday morning and they will put you to work!

The orchard is located on the Dogwood Church campus.  975 Hwy 74, Tyrone.

Once you get there, you will see signs for the orchard.

Call, text, or email Gretchen Watkins with any questions; 404.805.0461 or gretchen.spain@gmail.com.
