About Our Missions Team

At Evergreen, we are committed to the mission of announcing and demonstrating the coming Kingdom which undoes the brokenness of the world. Our good works do not earn salvation, but they are the evidence of a life captivated by and committed to the Gospel story of Scripture. They are a foreshadowing of the coming Kingdom and a way to participate in the reconciling mission of Christ.

Purpose Statement of the Evergreen Missions Team

“Participating in God’s mission through hands-on service and Kingdom partnerships on a local, national, and global level.”

Mission Team Ambassadors

At Evergreen, each of our ministry partners is represented by an Evergreen ambassador. Our hope is to move beyond a donorship model to a relationship model. Contact Pastor Don Feuerbach for details at PastorDon@EvergreenChurchGa.org.

Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Check in with assigned ministry partner up to 4 times a year via phone call, email, or in person conversation.
  • Provide feedback to our Missions Team on how we can continue to support our ministry partners through prayer, financial support, or volunteer opportunities.

Setup Team Volunteers Needed

We are looking for a volunteer to lead our set up team. Duties include scheduling volunteers to set up and tear down The Great Room for Sunday worship and occasionally be the person who sets the room themselves. We also need individuals who would like to be added to the list of volunteers  who rotate each week. Please contact the church if you are interested in volunteering to lead or be on the team. This is an immediate need so any help is greatly appreciated.

Evergreen Church Annual Workday is Saturday, August 26th.

The whole church is invited to participate in our Annual Church Workday on Saturday, August 26thfrom 8:30 am-12:00 pm. The majority of the tasks will take place outdoors tending to the church lawn, power washing the playground, laying mulch and pine straw. If you have any of the following supplies, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring them: work gloves, rake, chain saw, or blower.
