Evergreen Church reopening action plan 07/05/2020

Hello Evergreen Church family,

We will once again have two services this Sunday, July 5. We are excited to open both services to everyone, but do ask that you still register for the 9:30 am service due to limited capacity. Please RSVP online or with the church office by Friday before Sunday church. To RSVP click the button below. If you forget to RSVP we will do our absolute best to accommodate seating for you.

We are also continuing with our Sunday 7 pm outdoor family worship. Pack a picnic and activities for the children and join us for church on the lawn. Or stay in your car or golf cart for worship and tune in to radio station 102.3 FM for the service. Rain decisions will be made by 5 pm the evening of worship. The congregation will be notified through email.

Online worship will be posted on our website and Facebook on Sunday at 9:30 am.

If you have any questions or concerns please email Raymonde Neely at Raymonde@EvergreenChurchGa.org

Have a wonderful week,

Details for Sunday, June 7 worship

Hello Evergreen Church family,

We had an incredible service last week, and we hope you’ll join us again for church on the lawn at 9:30 am this Sunday. If you were not able to make it last week, but are coming this week, please take a moment to watch the videos below to see an overview on how the morning will go.

The lyrics will be sent digitally, but we recommend printing them before you come. We realize your phone screen is difficult to see outdoors.

It’s Communion Week – bring juice and crackers for you and your family to take Communion together or if you are watching virtually prepare your elements beforehand.

Other items you may wish to bring:

  • face mask
  • hand sanitizer
  • beach towel or blanket
  • lawn chair
  • sunglasses
  • sun tan lotion
  • and lots of smiles and waves for those whom you have not seen in awhile
*We are still hosting online worship at 9:30 am*

We look forward to taking communion with this Sunday!

It’s finally time to get out of the house! We cannot wait for in-person corporate worship this Sunday. We’re praying and believing this to be one of our best Sunday’s ever.

While we’re over the moon to see you, we have some boundaries in place to make sure we remain safe and wise as we come back together. Please watch this video to find out the details for Sunday – you’ll need to know before you come!

Please note: pre-recorded digital worship services will still be made available should you choose to forgo outdoor worship on May 31st. Keep an eye on your inbox for that link and more information.

Evergreen Church reopening action plan – phase 2

Hello Evergreen Church,

We are excited to annouce that Sunday, we will be in phase 2 of our reopening action plan with outdoor worship on May 31 and June 7. We will hold a 45 minute worship service starting at 9:30 am. We have several viewing options for you; you can stay in your car, sit in your golf cart, or enjoy the service from the lawn. If you choose to sit on the lawn we encourage you to bring lawn chairs and blankets. We have a team of volunteers who will facilitate the entrance and exit of church members and guests. Don’t forget we will also continue to hold virtual worship throughout the summer months which can be viewed at EvergreenChurchGa.org

During phase 2 we are still asking you to preschedule room reservation for small groups, meetings, and Bible studies. We are excited that many have already taken advantage of utilizing the church to gather. Don’t forget meetings must be scheduled in advance through Raymonde Neely at Raymonde@EvergreenChurchGa.org to ensure proper sanitation guidelines are being followed. For more details on phase 2, see the video below from Jonathan Goolsbee and our Evergreen youth.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
