Comfort Quilters, an Evergreen Church mission partner, is looking for volunteers to help make quilts on Thursdays from 11 am – 1:30 pm. The group welcomes sewers of all abilities. If you can thread a needle or cut with scissors, there’s a place for you in Comfort Quilters. FellowshipOne coming soon

During the next several months the church will be going through a system update with FellowshipOne. This will allow us to combine our contact management system, keep information up to date, simplify event registration, merge our volunteers tracking into one system, and eventually launch online giving! Starting in a couple of week we are going to be asking you to fill out specific forms with your contact information on Sunday mornings. Detailed communication coming soon!

A special thank you to Raymonde Neely and Stacy Taylor for researching and beginning the implementation process for the new system!

DNOW – March 1-3

DNOW is the biggest Student Ministry event of the year. It involves 30 churches in Fayette County and over 1500 students and volunteers across our area! DNOW is a highly anticipated weekend that is non-stop for students. It’s a time when students grow in their walk with Christ – some coming to faith for the first time, and build relationships with friends and youth group leaders. Students are placed in host homes for the weekend with others from their youth group. Students arrive at their host home on Friday night around 6 pm and will stay with their group until Sunday following church.

Our students will worship together at New Hope North on Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening with students from all across the county. They will dig deeper into God’s Word in their host homes over the weekend. All students will have transportation and meals provided by adults throughout the weekend. The cost is $55 per student. Please make checks payable to Evergreen Church. Contact Jonathan with questions at 404.558.1130.
