A word of encouragement – 07.01.2020

Live in the light

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness shall not overcome it.
John 1:5

During these uncertain times one thing I know for sure, God’s love will abide and this too shall pass.

In the midst of suffering, loneliness, sickness, insecurity, and doubt, we are called as Christians to be followers of Christ. Lighting the way for others and remembering to live in the light by showing love, understanding, compassion, and staying thankful, through all circumstances, reminds us and others that God is in control. We serve a God of peace, and not anxiety or chaos. Our true nature is to spread peace to those around us and allow our light to illuminate the darkness. God is begging us to seek and follow Him!

My prayer for you is to shine your light in the darkness. Don’t lose hope, and always look up. God is here and knows exactly what we need.  So, let’s all shine our light for all to see.

“In the morning O Lord, You will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my prayers before You and will look up.”
Psalm 5:3

Peace and blessings to my Evergreen family.
I miss you all so much
